Showing Storage limit reached

I have a storage limit of 50 GB, but I used 4.7 GB in total. When I try to upload another file it shows the storage limit reached. Why? Please help.

  Hi Rajib, 

  Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 

  You may check the folder you're uploading your files into. Just so you know, each folder's storage allocation is counted against its Owner. 

  With that, you  may be uploading in a collaborated folder and please tap the Owner to confirm if the Owner has enough storage to store new contents.
