    I'm having a similar issue - after removing all but 3 files (which total less than 6 KB) and emptying the trash bin, I still have 8.4 GB listed as being used.

    After searching the help pages, it seems that there is a script that can be run by Box.com Support to reset/fix the reported storage issue.

    Hopefully our posts will be noticed and the script run on our accounts!

    Great news! We've ran the script to correct your file and folder counts.

    @Robert, nice of you to join! I did the same for you and you can both check your current storage in box.com> Account Settings> Used Storage.
