What's the cheapest path to Box API access?
Hi folks!
I'm a software contractor, and I've been tasked with developing a Box webhook for a client. This is spectacularly difficult with the lack of a developer plan, and the "it's returning soon" communications aren't helpful.
I've got a free individual account, but authentication is broken and I can't see any way of authorising a custom app to allow adding a webhook URL anyway.
I don't want to waste my time or money on a paid personal account if I'm going to have the same problems, but the business and enterprise accounts are way beyond my budget.
My plain and simple questions are:
- When will developer support return? I'd appreciate a genuine answer so I can set expectations with my clients. Please don't just say "soon".
- Until developer support returns, what's my cheapest option for developing and authorising custom apps?

Hello!
Thanks for the post. It should be possible to have your client create a Sandbox account for you to develop in - this would be free for both the client and yourself. It would also allow them to own the environment.
We do not have a set date for developer accounts at this time.
