Pending viewer/uploader status
AnsweredI got a Box invite in my email to a shared spreadsheet that I need to edit regularly, but I only have the ability to view the file. I cannot edit or upload. There was an option at one point to request access to edit and I clicked that, but that has since disappeared. I have reached out to the admin that gave me access and they said that their IT department said "I noticed that the user already had access to the box folder, but I’ve removed, and re-invited the user. However, I think the LOCKED issue will still be present as its tied to the box/email account – this is not associated with us.." And they advised me to reach out to Box support directly to resolve the issue. Another person on my team who does have viewer/uploader status can see that the status next to my name is still "pending". I'm logged in with the same email that the invite was sent to and my account doesn't appear to be locked in any way that I can tell. Is there something that I am missing? Any suggestions on how to resolve the issue? Thank you.

To ensure all your pending collaboration invitation are accepted, here's how.
Also using your Box account, one way to check if this collaboration invite occurred. Kindly click the bell icon in the top right corner and look for the invite notification(s).
