Proving a document (or folder) was shared with another party.
AnsweredAn attorney said that she sent me files via Box.com, but I did not receive anything from her. She is accusing me of lying, but I received no email. I asked her for evidence that she sent it to me on that date, but she says there is no way for her to do that. She only receives confirmation once something is downloaded. Is that true? Is there a way she would be able to show me proof of when the document was shared?

Hi Austin,
Welcome to Box Community and I’m here to help!
You may check the pending request(s) to collaborate sent to your Box account, here's how.
Also, when a user sent you an invite to collaborate to their folder(s), you should receive an email notification and in your Box account. As for the latter, login to box.com and click the bell icon in your All Files page.
Meanwhile, the folder owner could head over to the folder you're invited with. And go to the collaborator's list and your name should be listed there, only if she's actually sent an invite to your account.
Hope it helps!
