Cannot download anymore with Silk browser on Kindle Fire (DL option is missing!)
AnsweredA music site I have enjoyed downloading stuff from for years is no longer accessible for me to download from, since Box changed around two weeks ago. I can only play their files but any drop-downs to download are invisible to me now. I suspect the new changes are NOT compatible with Kindle Fire Silk browser. (but everyone else says this site works fine for them, but then they use laptops and phones, unlike me) Even switching to Desktop view fails to work, as I only get a smaller version of the same almost-blank screen with just a "play box" in the center. Any justice for the poor Kindle users? (We are few but we exist!)
Here is what I see every time I click on their direct-download links now...as if I'm BLOCKED from downloading! (I already talked to the website owner and they see no issues, so please do not suggest this!)

Hi Marie,
Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!
It appears you're accessing the file through a shared link, the sender/owner of this shared link may have disabled the option to download the file. And please contact the sender/owner to enable it.
To edit the settings of your shared link:
- In the Box window, hover on the file or folder.
- Click Share. You can also either click the right mouse button or the ellipsis (...) to access Share.
- In the Share window, click Link Settings. Box displays the Shared Link Settings window.
- Edit the settings to which you have access. To enable a setting, click its checkbox.
- Click Save.
Hope it helps!
