"Customize Folder Settings" option missing
AnsweredI need to have my Box files sync to another drive/partition (ie not my C:\ drive). The current installer is missing the option to "Customize Folder Settings" that should be or used to be present. Any ideas? Thanks!
PS It's a personal account (Windows 10 Pro PC), I don't have an administator other than myself.

Hi Alexis,
Welcome to Box Community and glad to help!
Kindly uninstall your current Box Sync application and follow these steps to modify the location of your Box Sync folder.
To uninstall your Box Sync:
- Uninstall Box Sync from Control Panel > Programs and Features
- Delete the remaining Box Sync folders:
- C:\Users\USERNAME\Box Sync
- Do not delete your Box Sync folder if it contains content that is not synced up to Box.
- If you do not want to delete the old Box Sync folder you can rename it (for example, to "Box Sync Old") to break the association between Box Sync and your Box.com account. This avoids any confusion when installing a new instance of Box Sync.
- C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Box Sync
Note
The folder AppData is hidden by default on Windows systems. To view this folder, click show hidden folders in Windows.
- C:\Users\USERNAME\Box Sync
Hope it helps!

Hi Rona,
I followed your instructions to the letter.
On installation (Box Drive version 2.32.112), the login screen does not give a customising folder option. Upon logging in, I am greeted with a tour. Then Box opens an Explorer window with a fresh but as yet unsynced Box folder in my User folder, and the app minimises to the SysTray and proceeds to Sync. There are no options anywhere to modify the location at this point either.
I have clicked on the Send Logs option in Help.
