Recovering files from a collaborative folder owned by an account that was deleted.
AnsweredI had a university sponsored Box account where I uploaded a collection of important files shared with other people.
Without my knowing, my university stopped their Box subscription and now I can no longer login to my university Box account to retrieve my files and transfer them elsewhere. For a while, the files were still accessible from the collaborators side (they could view and download files) but now, it seems like they are gone and I am locked out.
I really need to restore these files, is there any way to get a one-time login and retrieve the data or if the account is deleted, to recover it temporarily???

Please contact your University Admin if they can help you retrieve your missing files. If they previously managed your Box account, it's their discretion to whether they would delete or keep your Box account with your contents included.
