Ah, lost 2FA. One of my favourite subjects!

You will need to go to Box Support to get your 2FA reset. If you don't have a support agreement then the first response will be that they cannot help. You just need to push them. They have to do this for "free" users.

They will ask you a lot of questions about your account and the files in it. If you get them wrong then they will not remove the 2FA. It doesn't matter how much you prove you own the email account or the domain the emails go to they will not budge.

    Good luck!

The box support just redirects me back to this forum - there is no one to email!

    Hello!

I think I have the same problem.

I had the Multi-factor authentication with an authentication app (Microsoft), but as I changed my phone and the Authentication app did not save box access, I can not get the codes to enter. I also forgot the two codes to reset my app, so I am stuck!

Please, would you mind to give me any help? Thanks!

I need help too, i still have account access, tried to change 2FA tool as I'm migrating from Andriod to iphone. Disabled 2FA, received email with 2-Step login verification disabled. However account properties still showing old 2FA, please help me remove it.

My coworker needs help resetting his 2FA.  He can not login, to even request help, because it requires the 2FA upfront.  How do we go about this?  I see several comments of people with similar issues, and resetting the password does not help because it keeps stopping at the 2FA point.
