    Box Sync been working fine for several years. THE most important file will not sync with computer. Cannot do any work.

    VERY frustrated with lack of Tech Support.

    Deleted Box Sync App. Installed. Box Sync synced up and deleted my work document...all 9823 files. everything else was there, just missing my most important files. 

    Had to copy work files from backup hard copy I had downloaded yesterday.

    Always, always, always backup, backup, backup

    Hi Charles,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    We firmly suggest for this change in your environment as Box Drive is the current Box desktop experience, does not require manual syncing (though this is available through the mark for offline option), and the issue you're experiencing is likely to be resolved straight away after installation. By installing Box Drive from this link Box Sync will be automatically uninstalled, and any files that had not synced up to Box will be preserved in your old Box Sync folder.
