Personal Box ios app. Trash/Delete option missing.

I downloaded a single pdf (not a folder) on my iphone from a publicly shared Box & now can't delete it. I read how to delete a folder. Of no help since 'trash' and/or 'delete' are missing: they're not just grayed out. What's wrong and how do I fix this?
