Search for file comes up missing

I have uploaded one file. When I go to search for any keyword in that file, it says
"Sorry, we couldn't find what you're looking for."
Wondering how long it takes for the system to index a PDF file so that it can be searched.

Welcome to Box Community and glad to help!
Please be informed that it can take time between uploading or modifying a file for it to be fully indexed and ready to be searched. In most cases, you can expect newly added or changed files to be available via Box search in 10 minutes. The current service load determines the index time and it may take more than 10 minutes in some cases.
