Box for Government Microsoft Online issue

Kindly note that we have a Microsoft 365 for Education tenant and we had previously integration with Box. We moved our Box tenant to Box for Government but we're facing issues when we're trying to modify Microsoft Word & Excel Online files - we can read the files, but we cannot modify them.
There's no documentation online that says we need to do anything from Microsoft/AzureAD side after this move. And there's nothing mentioned that we need to have a Microsoft 365 for Government tenant.
How can we troubleshoot this issue and what could be causing it?

This integration only incorporates the Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel web applications. If you are an enterprise Box user, you must have a business Office 365 account to use this integration. If you are a free Box user, you can use the integration without a Microsoft Office Online account. (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196433-Box-for-Office-Integrations#h_01H3MA20MBWQ7XZZDMN7K8M4GW)Also, if you can only preview the file and not edit it. Please verify your permission and make sure you have Editor and above access. Get to know more about your collaboration access here.
