Where al of my documents

All of my important files and documents are gone, and you required me to change my password.  But everything is gone.  You were my backup and supposed to be reliable. But everything is gone. I need my files.

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 

    Please go over to your trash/bin icon to find and recover your missing files. However, if the missing files are your shared contents, please reach out the the folder owner.

    Meanwhile, here's how you could restore specific items in Trash:

    The steps below apply whether you’re selecting from search results or from all Trash items.

    1. Hover to highlight the row of the item you want. The More Options ellipsis (…) displays.
    2. Click the ellipsis (...).  Then: 
    • To return the item to its original location in Box, click Restore.
    1. At the prompt, click Okay.

    Perhaps you didn't understand me the first time.  All of my files and documents are gone. I am the only one on my account, and I do not share with anyone.  There is nothing in the in my account or trash. It is totally blank. Why is this so hard to comprehend?  Where are my files? I thought I kept them on Box to be safe and secure, but they were neither safe nor secure.  They are gone!  Where are they?
