Failed to update the subscription, and the files were erased
AnsweredI wanted to update my subscription plan few days ago, after I entered the credit card number and there was a notice that shows an error of the purchase. After then, my files and folders were all erased from the box all of a sudden. However, the storage space hasn't been erased. This is very disappointing because I wanted to pay but my files were gone after this. Can anyone please help me to retrieve the files?

We've corrected your storage count. To verify this, log in to box.com> Account Settings> Used Storage.
Meanwhile, for your missing contents. Can you tell if these are your owned files or just shared with? If it's the latter, you may contact the folder owner to gain back your access.
However, if the missing contents are your owned files. Please recover them from your trash/bin icon.
To restore specific items in Trash:
The steps below apply whether you’re selecting from search results or from all Trash items.
- Hover to highlight the row of the item you want. The More Options ellipsis (…) displays.
- Click the ellipsis (...). Then:
- To return the item to its original location in Box, click Restore.
- At the prompt, click Okay.
