Unable to add mail address

Dear Box Community

I would like to change my login address to an address that I have already used with Box earlier..... Previously I have permanently deleted from box using its account settings menu

I have access to both my current and desired email addresses with the email provider

However whenever I try to add my desired address (the one I have permanently deleted from box) I get the following error "xxx@outlook.com cannot be added to this account because it is already linked to a Box account."

Please Help

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 

    It's important to note that you can only link an email address that hasn't been registered in any Box account.
