Unlimited Storage?

Hey Nick. Unlimited storage and unlimited file upload size arent the same thing. While your account may have unlimited storage, the max file size you can upload is limited based on the type of account you have, in your case 15GB. As far as I'm aware there are 2 tiers above 15GB, those being 50GB and 150GB both via the Enterprise plans.

Re. your 10GB limit, it sounds like you might be seeing a limit on a non-managed account that is currently using the free personal tier. The free personal accounts have the base allowance of 10GB, however if you have a paid unlimited business account and share a folder from within that account to another personal tier account, anything stored within that shared folder is counted towards the folder owners account, not the personal tiers 10GB. Shared folders appear as blue folders within Box.com.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

To your first point, I acknowledge the difference and indicated so in the post. The files for this project we are currently working on are well below the 15GB threshold.

Your second point looks like it could be the issue. However, I swapped to the account managers' (who only has the business plus associated with his account) and we are receiving the same error, "Account storage limit reached".

This is very concerning as this is causing us to miss our deadline and similar issues with box have caused us to be delayed in the past. I'm thinking this is just a bug... Hopefully this gets addressed immediately and that this isn't effecting other users. I've heard similar stories from other users so I'm worried this may be common!

Ah k. Sorry, I probably can't help any further. Potentially connected, just this morning I've started getting a notification stating I've exceeded fair usage bandwidth which has stopped all transfers using the Box apps. I'm waiting for a response from support. Perhaps our issues are related to an update or change on their side.
