I am trying to manage one of my members so that the member cannot accidentally delete or move files in my shared folders but will still be able to view them.  I recently saw that there's a new USER STATUS where I can set the members status to ACTIVE VIEW/ UPLOAD ONLY.  I had previously used under Folder Collaborations "VIEWER UPLOADER".  Here's my questions:

  1. Wouldn't the two categories be in conflict with each other especially if Active view/ upload only is paired with Editor?
  2. Does this (User Status) only apply to folders shared to the member and not the member's own folders.
  3. Has anyone demonstrated that these features actually work by deliberately deleting a file from a member's who's account has been "Active View/ Upload" or View/Uploader only?

Thanks for any input.  The guide information is not very complete.
