Help! Reactivate a deactivated account
CompletedHello,
I received this email yesterday, and 12 hours later my account was suspended.
Dear Box Admin,
We have continued to detect excessive and anomalous activity in your account 51820731 that risks overburdening or impairing Box’s ability to provide services and is in violation of the Box Terms of Service.
As a result, to prevent abuse and ensure the integrity of the Box Service for all our users, we have implemented preventative measures to disable uploads and sharing (including shared link URLs) from this account effective immediately, and will be deactivating the account.
We will expedite your cancelation and refund any prepaid fees prorated for the remaining duration of your current subscription period.
Sincerely,
The Box Team
Can you folks reactivate my account? I wasn't aware that I exceeded the monthly bandwidth limit. I'll try to obey that limit more closely from here on.
Thanks!

Hello Dimither, no they haven't reactivated yet. I called Billing support, they said files are retained for 120 days.. so the clock is ticking. It's been about a month and a half and I'm still locked out of my files.
I've been asking support for updates every week or two, and they keep telling me to wait to hear back from Cancellation team. After a few days the support tickets auto-close, I respond that the issue isn't resolved which re-opens the ticket, and then I'm told to wait for response again.

The same thing happens to me.
A quite unprofessional attitude on the box side!I got deactivated because after receiving an email about bandwidth limitation, I started downloading all my content back. And even though this limitation doesn't apply when you download your own files, they deactivate my account.
Since then I've been in a vicious circle like you!
