Almost about to purchase unlimited plan but...
AnsweredHello! I've been considering purchasing business plan, and and recently I was playing with Box settings, but there are couple of things that stop me for now, until i find solution, is there any way to change these settings?
1. The default location of the Box folder is now under the user folder in C drive, which makes no sense. is there any way to change it to D:/Box for example? Personally im just using C for the OS and some system files, and thats all.
2. Once for some reason i decide to quit the app or log out, all the files disappear from the computer! I guess usually I am supposed to be logged it, but I was not sure if this might cause some inconveniences at some time!
Well, mainly 1 is the main issue!

Just so you know, we have two different Box local applications you can use to sync your Box contents. These are Box Sync and Box Drive, however please note that we most recommend using the latter.
Meanwhile, to answer your questions:
- When Box Drive is installed, I'm afraid there's no option you could change your local Box folder location. Meanwhile, with Box Sync, when you first log into Box Sync (the first time after installing Box Sync or when you log in as a different user) you have the option to customize the location of the "Box Sync" folder where Box Sync will store your synced content (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043696674-Modifying-the-Location-of-the-Box-Sync-Folder).
- When Box Drive is installed, Box Drive deletes a cached file when you log out of Box Drive. Meanwhile, with Box Sync since it physically downloads your Box contents to your machine. Your Box contents will remain even after you log out of Box Sync. Just make sure it's fully synced before you log out.
