Box Sync/Drive problems
CompletedHi, I recently purchased a MacBook Air. I migrated my files from an old MacBook Pro, which migration included Box Sync that was running on the Pro machine. My second work computer, an iMac, has Box Drive installed. When the migration finished, unbeknownst to me, a sync started on the Air which for awhile deleted everything on Box.com, only to be revived the next day with what I assume is the last sync’ed copy of my Box files from the old Pro computer (which had been transferred to the Air computer during the migration). I believe the Pro computer had the most recent version of my Box files, though I am not exactly sure.
The immediate issue is that Box Drive appears to be broken on the iMac. When I open the local Box folder on the iMac, most of my files are missing and there are red exclamation marks on two of my most important folders. It appears that Drive can no longer cull files from Box.com. How do I fix this?
Perhaps my endgame should be to have all computers using Drive but I’m afraid to make any changes without guidance. I would like Box.com to have all of my files on it and the computers to sync what is needed through Drive. Box Sync was good but I’m at the point where I’m running out of hard drive space.
