Previous upload links after setting up a custom subdomain

I have a question about setting up a custom subdomain. Before setting up the custom subdomain, I created multiple shared links and upload links. For example, a link like https://app.box.com/f/9ea***************. When I set up a custom subdomain, will the already set up links like https://app.box.com/f/9ea*************** become unusable?

  Yes, it's true that changing your subdomain will break all your current shared links.
