Column widths in file explorer too small!

The width of the file name display field in box drive always starts narrow at startup, making it almost always always necessary to adjust column widths. Width adjustments are not persistent even in the same session. This issue has apparently been reported multiple times over multiple years without a solution to date.

Seems that a simple registry entry to widen the default column widths should be easily doable for someone with sufficient knowledge. Is there not anything that can be done about this?
