Why does the folder take up 34x more space than its contents?
AnsweredI've been working on a class project and I started getting the error of items not uploading to Box because of a filled quota when I save them on my PC. When I looked into it, I found that the largest folder on Box was taking up 16.8GB of space but its current contents only take up 0.5GB. I only have 50GB of space with my university and this project has other contributors to my Box drive so why is there over 16GB of unused space being marked as filled? I've deleted all files in the trash but it didn't help. I don't know if deleting the cache will help as this seems like this problem is on Box's side (shown below in the browser version - image 1) and not with my PC (desktop version - image 2). This issue seems to be present with all the other folders as well, just at a smaller scale because of their smaller size. I did create and delete a few large files (about 2.5GB each) in this folder before, but they have since been removed (current largest file shown in first image).
.
Thanks
