Client Having Issues Uploading

Need some help - a client is uploading photos but not all the photos are uploaded.
It would say successful - but missing 100-300 items.
Background information:
The client is using Box web portal, desktop, uploading into a folder that they are a collaborator in. They have access and also Editor permissions in this folder.
They upload lots of photos a day - approximately 2,000 a day. They are Jpeg file extension, iPhone photos. Approximately 2 to 5 GB total.
But the upload speed is slow. Once completed uploading, it would say 'successful' but when they check Box web portal Desktop, about 100-300 photos missing.
Has anyone had a similar issue and how to resolve?
