How can I change owner of a box folder when the previous owner has already left the company?

  Welcome to the Box Community!

  I recommend that you reach out to your Box Admin, they have the ability to "transfer folder ownership" through Admin console.

  You can provide this article to the Admin for reference: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044197333-Using-the-Content-Manager
