Emptied almost everything from my box, still shown as nearly full

I submitted this question a week ago and support advised me to try to upload as Box may be telling me storage is used when it is not. However, when I try to upload I get a message that folder storage is exceeded.
Please delete all content of my folder so I can start uploading again. Thanks.
