    Hello, Jessica Webb

Here is the some step-by-step guidance to help you resolve this:

Opening Local HTML Files in Safari:
If you’re trying to open local HTML files (files stored directly on your iPad), Safari might not handle them directly. However, there are workarounds:
Microsoft Edge: Unlike Safari, Microsoft Edge can still open local HTML files. Here’s how:
Install Microsoft Edge from the App Store.
Open the Files app (or any other file browsing app you prefer).
Locate the HTML file you want to open.
Tap the Share button and choose Edge as the app to open the file. Voilà!
Alternatively, you can use a free app called Koder available on the App Store. Koder allows you to edit and view HTML files.
    Managing Downloads in Safari:
If you’re downloading files directly from Safari, here’s how to manage them:
When you download a file, it appears in the Downloads section within Safari.
Tap the Downloads button (the arrow pointing down inside a circle) in the toolbar to view your current downloads.
You can cancel ongoing downloads by tapping the “X” next to them.
To resume a paused download, tap the Resume button (looks like the refresh icon).
    To access your downloaded files:
Tap the magnifying glass icon to open your Downloads folder in iCloud Drive.
From there, you can view, share, or organize your files.
    Adobe and Office 365:
If you’re having trouble with Adobe or Office 365 apps, ensure that you’re using the latest versions from the App Store.
Sometimes, cached data or settings can cause issues. Try restarting your iPad and reopening the apps.
    Check File Extensions:
Make sure your files have the correct extensions (e.g., .html for HTML files). Sometimes, hidden extensions can cause confusion.
If needed, rename your files to remove any extra extensions (e.g., index.html.txt to index.html).

I hope this information will help you.
    Best regard.

Hi! Thank you so much for the prompt response. Appreciated!

I am Using safari browser on my ipad 11. I hit download box tools and it downloads in html and then nothing happens. It wont run or open, install like a normal download.

I’ll try using edge. I dont have any idea what i should give the safari extension permission to do. It just takes me to the app store when i try to allow safari extensions for box. Maybe its security settings are too much since a recent security scare? I dont see the settings options it’s an ipad not a mac. But my primary computer.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jessica,

Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!

In order to access your Box files through your iPad 11, please install Box for iOS. And as of this writing, Box Tools is not available on iPad.

    Thanks for posting!
