Error when sharing with external collaborator
AnsweredI am using my usda.gov Box account for work. I had a box folder created that can share files with external (non-usda) collaborators. I've successfully shared the folder with many external users, but I'm having trouble sharing with one person with an icloud.com e-mail.
When I first tried to share it with him, he couldn't see the shared folder when he went into Box. There was nothing there. He thought maybe it was because he had previously had a Box folder with others at his school, so he deleted his Box account and then I tried to re-share it with him. Now when I try to share it with him it says, "Sorry, you can not invite deactivated users to collaborate."
The USDA's help desk told me they can't help me with issues with external users and referred me to this website. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Kathleen - we do not support external users issues with Box.
If the external users’ needs any help, they can visit this website for Box https://support.box.com/hc/en-us
Thank youSo they're refusing to help because the person I'm trying to share the folder with is external. Which is a very common thing that we do at the Forest Service - we have many collaborators from other state and federal agencies, universities, nonprofits, and private groups.
