I cannot receive password reset email
AnsweredI have a unique situation. I have been using the box for more than 11-13 years. I had the enterprise free account through my work. unfortunately, when the company was bought over, I didn't change my email. i tried adding a secondary email but it seems it actually didn't change it. Box then didn't have a 2-factor authentication.
I have used it to load my family pictures, documents, and events for those 11 or 13 years.
There was no need to change the login or password. Of recent, when I try to log in, I get a message that says my password has expired. when I entered the username email, it sends an email to this work domain that has been bought by another company and I have no access to. I have written to box support and asked them to use my secondary email in the account.
but the support agent is adamant that I must get the link only from the email that I cannot reach. this is a company domain. Is there a workaround? I am ready to show documents, my ID, and other things to prove my identity.
How can I recover my account?
