    Hello,.

It seems like you’ve deleted data from your storage, but the capacity hasn’t decreased. This behavior can occur due to various reasons, and I’ll provide some insights to help you troubleshoot:

    System & Reserved Space:
When you delete files, Windows might allocate the freed space to system and reserved files. These files include system restore points, hibernation files, and other essential components.
To check if this is the case, use tools like WinDirStat or TreeSize to analyze your drive. They can reveal hidden or unknown files that occupy space.
If you find large unknown files, consider whether they are necessary. Deleting unnecessary system restore points or adjusting system settings might help.
    Database Size (for databases):
If you’re dealing with a database, deleting rows won’t immediately reduce the actual database file size. You need to compact the database after row deletion.
Additionally, consider rebuilding indexes to avoid performance issues caused by shrinking.
    Recycle Bin and Disk Cleanup:
Ensure you’ve emptied the Recycle Bin after deleting files. Sometimes files remain there until you explicitly empty it.
Run Disk Cleanup (you can open it by typing cleanmgr in the Run dialog) to remove temporary files and free up space.
OneDrive and Cloud Storage:    florida blue member login

If you’re using OneDrive or other cloud storage, deleting files might not immediately free up space on your local drive.
Cloud storage services often sync files back to your local machine. To reclaim space, you may need to delete more data than you expect.
Remember to check these aspects based on your specific situation. If you encounter any issues, feel free to ask for further assistance.

    Best Regards
