    Hello,

To delete folder owned by a former member in box, you can transfer folder ownership > Go to admin console > click users and groups > find user who left and click their name > If you want delete delete user.

I hope it should be help you manage and delete the folders owned by former member.

    Hi Carole,

Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!

Looks like you're deleting the folder(s) owned by the user.  At this rate, you can remove your visibility to the folder(s) by ending your collaboration access.

How To End A Folder Collaboration:

    1. Log in to Box.com go to your All Files page.
    2. Next to the name of the folder on which you wish to stop collaborating, click the ellipsis (...).  Then, from the menu that displays, click More Actions.
    3. Click End Collaboration.  Box removes you as a folder collaborator.  At this point you cannot access the folder's contents unless the folder owner re-invites you as a collaborator.

    Hope it helps!

Are user accounts disabled after a period of time?  I have access to former colleague's email account but when I click the "reset password" link the email is never received.  I have tested from GMail and email is flowing to the mailbox.
