Can no longer open files in web browser Box in desktop app

I can no longer get files to open from web browser version of Box in desktop apps to edit. The option to open files in desktop app is actually grayed out. This is causing issues with my workflow. Not sure what to do.

- Are you accessing the file through the Box website or via your local Box folder?
- If it's the latter, can I confirm your Operating System and Box version?
- Also, is there an error message? If so, kindly attach a screenshot of your error.
