    Hello,

Certainly! If your user has lost access to their two-factor authentication (2FA) device or is having trouble receiving the 2FA code, they can follow these steps to request a two-factor authentication reset:

    Look for Backup Codes:
When setting up 2FA on the platform, users are provided with a list of emergency access codes. These codes can be used to authenticate login credentials if they are unable to access their 2FA device.
If your user downloaded these backup codes, they should check their local drive for the file (likely saved as carta-backup-codes.txt).
If they locate the backup codes, they can use one to authenticate their login and then update their 2FA device settings directly from their account.
    To do this:
Navigate to the platform (e.g., Carta) and enter the username and password.
Click “Try other options” on the bottom of the authentication code page.
Copy and paste or enter one of the backup codes on the following screen and click “Continue.”
Once logged in, they can manage their two-factor authentication devices and settings by clicking their name in the top right and selecting “Security” from the dropdown.

    Best Regards
