Files not syncing - box quietly crashing
AnsweredA few days ago, Box somehow wasn't syncing files. The icon in the tray had the "box files syncing" dialog. I noticed that there were multiple instances of Box in the taskmanager. Doing a bunch of searches yielded that logging out and back in would fix the issue. After logging back in, all files from the past 24h+ were gone. Is there a way to make sure this doesn't happen in the future or recover files if possible?

We firmly suggest for this change in your environment as Box Drive is the current Box desktop experience, does not require manual syncing (though this is available through the mark for offline option), and the issue you're experiencing is likely to be resolved straight away after installation.
By installing Box Drive from this link Box Sync will be automatically uninstalled, and any files that had not synced up to Box will be preserved in your old Box Sync folder.
