Need Help Decoupling Box from existing Domain and re-establishing a new root Admin account

I have an existing box account that was originally setup to support a small business. I have sense decided to no longer maintain this business and am looking to deprecate the domain. I have a considerable amount of data currently stored in box that I want to keep there. I have been trying to figure out how to either update the email address tied to the root account to an alternative address that does not use the original domain, or create a new account and promote it to root admin.

All of my attempts to decouple the existing box account from the domain have failed. I am looking for someone in support to reach out and assist me with this issue.

I tried to submit a support ticket, but the only support option presented to me is a community post. Despite the fact that I am a paid account and have paid for support for years.
