Copy Folder API question

New to the API and I'm designing a solution for a customer. Quick question, does the copy folder API call also copy its contents (including subfolders)?

It isn't entirely clear in the doc and I just wanted to answer this before beginning development. The use case is a recommended one from Box folks - to set up template folders. In our case we'd like to copy those folders using the API.

   The Copy Folder endpoint will create a copy of the folder and all of that folder's content including its subfolders.
