Uploading Files and Folders to Box

My system send a daily excel file to our box folder.  This works perfectly.  However the automated excel file adds the date to each file in the name so when box get's the file it keeps it as a new file and does not replace the original file.  We use this file four dashboards in GROW so the updated dated needs to be pulled in the same file throught the day.

 

What can I do to fix this

  Can you use the upload new version of the file api endpoint?
