How to download a publicly available file from the command line?
AnsweredI am new to Box so I don't know how things work. There is a folder of files that was made publicly available so that I can download them from my browser on my personal computer without even being logged in to Box. How would I download the same files from the command line on Linux? I think I should be able to search for the file ID given the file name, but I can't figure out how. Also, I'm not sure whether I need to authenticate as part of this process.

You may want to start by checking out Box's API reference (https://developer.box.com/reference).
Then there are command line tools like wget and curl and text based browsers like w3m, lynx, and elink. My personal favorite to access Box, not using a URL, is rclone (rclone.org).
