Script to copy Box Sync data to Box - HELP
We have an issue where hundreds of users have an issue with Box Sync. Rather than reinstall Box Sync we want to go to Box Drive. The issue is people have been updating the Box Sync folder, but Sync is not running. This means Box Drive will not be current once it is installed. I'm running the upgrade to Box Drive with the switch to leave the Box Sync folder and contents after uninstall of Box Sync.
I have an issues with copying data using a variable from Box Sync to Box folder. My guess is there is a conflict
with the variable and Junction point since it is not technically a folder.
It works with full path c:\users\jsmith\box, but not with %userprofile% variable. I need to run on over 400 machines so I need to use a variable.
Copy of script:
if exist c:\temp\Box_Installed.txt goto :eof
robocopy /e "%userprofile%\Box Sync" "%userprofile%\Box"
cd c:\temp
echo some-test > Box_installed.txt
:eof
Anyone have an idea?

Hey
I'm not particularly familiar with bash/shell scripts and using variables in them. Based on a stackexchange post I found, it seems some other folks have encountered similar issues with "%userprofile%". You can find more information about that post here: https://superuser.com/questions/571974/userprofile-variable-not-working
