Box Drive Manually Pause Upload on Metered connections
Hi,
In box drive on Mac, I use the Offline feature. When I am on a metered connection or patchy network, there needs to be an option to pause uploads.
In Microsoft OneDrive there is a feature where the upload/sync can be paused (manually or for select hours). During this time the offline available files are accessible for view and edit. Once the Sync is enabled, the files get uploaded this helps is managing network traffic on a slow network.
I am unable to find a similar feature in Box Drive for Mac. It would be great to have this capability.
Regards,
Kartik

100% this is a feature that I miss from Box Sync. Manual control over syncing allowed me to work on a version of a file within a shared folder without "pushing" that interim draft to any other users sharing that same folder. That risks conflicted copies, but the same is true for working without an internet connection. I'd like to be able to pause syncing, without completely turning off my internet connection.

I just uninstalled Box Drive on my new computer, and put Box Sync back. I often work over a cellular hotspot, and Drive will not let me stop syncing. If I turn it off, I lose all my files - how stupid is that?
I also had some random lockups for a second or two ever since I installed Box Drive - they seem to have gone way, although I am not 100% sure of that yet.
