Disable automatic updates in box drive

We work in a regulated industry.  As part of this regulation, we have to control the versions of software in place on our systems.  We can only update when we have gone through an approval process.

Is there a way to disable automatic software updates for box drive and for box tools?

    Disabling Box Drive auto updates is not supported at this time. 

    A similar idea has been shared in Box Pulse though the suggestion is currently tagged as "not planned", if you and other members would like to support this suggestion, please feel free to go to the link above to up-vote and share your use cases.

    Our product team reviews all submissions and will consider whether to include feedback in their product roadmap.

    Is there a way to disable automatic software updates for box drive and for box tools?

     we have to got through approval every time we do update upgrade for every payment.
