Help to make a folder on Box read only (stop user's modifications)

Hi, I need to stop modifications in a shared folder on Box (the folder is big with many folders, subfolders and users) then I wonder if there is some way to convert all the permissions of the users to 'Viewer' (change the permissions manually would take a lot of time and meanwhile the users could continue adding or deleting files and folders).

    Updating permissions on your folder is possible via API.

    You may post your questions in Platform and Developer Forum on how to utilize the API in changing permissions.
