Box Status

search does find content of Word or BoxNote documents

Hi everyone,

I want to migrate our team Wiki to Box. However, Box does not find content in documents. I can provide access to current data so you can see for yourself.

    Welcome to the Box Community and thanks for your post in the forum!

    Search content within a file or full text search feature is disabled by default and can be enabled at the request of the Primary admin of your Box if you are part of an Enterprise level account. You might want to reach out to your internal help desk to see if this is something your company needs to be enabled.

    Hello, not sure if this is being monitored. The link provided doesn't describe how to enable full text search, as the admin. Are those instructions available? Also, the link provided states that the content search is limited to 10,000 characters, which isn't that much. Is there a way to search longer documents?
