    Hi Jason,

Welcome to the Box Community and thanks for your post in the forum!

Has there been any changes with the user's permission on the folders in Box.com? Any changes made on Box web app will be reflected to the user's Box Drive app.

If nothing has changed, can you have the affected user to try to logout/login from the Box Drive app? By doing so, the application will trigger a new command to regenerate the user's folder tree and then see if it will fix the issue for them.

Should the issue persist, please have the affected user submit a support ticket here so the team can help investigate: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    Regards,

    France

    Hi,

If I remove a collaborator from a Box folder, will they permanently not have access to that folder and its contents?

    Hello,

As far as the user is concerned, they do not recall any permissions changes, made intentionally or accidentally. We did try a logoff/login process with the Box Drive.app, but can't hurt to do so again.

    Thanks

    Hey, everyone!

Thanks for following up on this.

For @Sanat's question, yes, when you remove a collaborator from a Box folder, that user will no longer be able to access the said Folder.

For @Jason, please have the affected user submit a support ticket here so the team can help investigatehttps://support.box.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Thanks again for your time and have a nice day!

    Regards,

    France
