    Welcome to the Box Community!

    You will be restricted in inviting external collaborators when the following settings are Enabled:

    • Under Folder Settings > Restrict Collaboration within your Company is Enabled
    • In the Admin Console> Users & Groups> Managed Users> choose the folder owner's account > under "Edit User Access permissions" see if Restrict external collaboration is Enabled

    Can you check these settings and try disabling them and then see if you can invite external collaborators again?

    I followed your instructions on this post and I can still not invite outside collaborators. I want to be able to share a folder with multiple files in it to whomever I want. My settings are as you indicated above yet I can still not share folders or files with outside collaborators. I need answers as this tool is not working for me. and I cannot get anyone on a phone to trouble shoot this.

    If you have followed this tip but still unable to collaborate with outside collaborators, this would be something our Support team can further investigate with you.

    Hello! I'm new to box, and have invited to my Company's box account. I have a previous box profile where i share files with our accounting team. I want to be sure our accounting team cannot view the content I'm adding to my team's folder. How can I be sure?
