Bug in iPhone app (missing Bookmarks button when viewing PDF documents)

Hello,

In previous versions of the iPhone app (before the latest update), when viewing a PDF document you could click on the Pages view button (4 little square boxes in top right corner of the app) and then the text search button would be replaced with a Bookmarks button (3 dots with lines next to them). Tapping on the Bookmarks button would take you to a screen showing the bookmarks for that PDF document.

The latest update to the iPhone app has broken this functionality. The bookmarks button does not appear now when in the Pages view. I checked the latest update to the iPad app and the Bookmarks functionality in the iPad version of the Box app still works as it did previously.

By random coincidence, I did find a work-around that temporarily brings the Bookmarks button back in the iPhone app. The iPhone app happened to crash while I had a PDF document open, and when I re-launched the Box app the previous document opened automatically. The next time I went to the Pages view the Bookmarks button magically appeared. Closing the document normally (with the X in the top left corner) and re-opening the document caused the Bookmarks button to no longer show up. However, if you open the document and then force close the Box app, when you re-open the Box app the Bookmarks icon will begin showing up again while in the Pages view until you close the document again.

Hopefully this helps your programmers track down the issue with the Bookmarks button. I had a friend try this on his iPhone. His Bookmarks functionality was working on an old version of the Box app, but when he updated to the new version it began having the same issue that mine does. I can't say for sure that this functionality broke in the latest update (both of us may have been a few updates behind), but it definitely broke in one of the recent updates.

The PDF bookmarks functionality in the iPhone app was very useful when it was working previously. Thank you for looking into this problem.

I cannot view my bookmarked pdf document on my Ipad.

I have the same problem in the last ipad app update.
The pdf bookmark function is an essential tool for browsing big documents and ebooks.
Hope you can reinstate it in the next upgrade.
