    Hi Sabrina,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

If you have multiple accounts that you wish to merge, the best way to achieve this would be to move the data from one account to the other and then you can delete the unwanted account.

You need to select which account you would like to maintain and then you may use collaboration and transfer folder ownership so only one specific account will host all of your files and folders.

Thanks for visiting and for your participation in the Community!

I have the same issue and obviously merging the data itself is not the solution. If you do that you are transfering the data out of 1 company to another, because if we put stuff on box its for others to see it too. so I do'nt want to ahve one happy comunity, I need to sets of data for two companies.

The issue I have is with the desktop function, Can I have the two accounts open with Box desktop and see them both ? I'm usnure and don't want to screw it up. Any thoughts dear community ?

Absurd.  You can't even sign out of the Box Desktop app and sign in as the identity for the second account.  At least I haven't found a way to do so, and I'm an IT guy.  The Application should 1) give you an option to sign out; 2) give you an option to sign in; and, preferably, 3) give you the option to sign in to more than one account simultaneously.
Has Box considered adding any of this functionality?  I've seen it requested multiple times by users.  These are functions, I, too, need, as I support multiple organizations that use Box.  About the only other work-around that comes to mind is seeing if I can log in to the computer as a second user account and seeing if I can install the Box App for that user account and sign into Box for the second account.  Not a great work-around, but it's a possibility.

I have been given access to 2 box accounts, but I can only log into one.  If I try resetting the password on one account, I'm redirected to a second account (or primary/first account).  Is there a way to log into different box accounts?

    Deneen Tercan,

I am a user of Box and not a representative of Box.
I am also an IT person with 40 years of experience.
I have not discovered a way to sign out of Box and sign in with a different account.

The work-around I came up with is to create a second computer account, log in to the computer with the alternate user account, and configure Box on that second user account with the second Box identity.  Unfortunately, I did run into issues with applications (Microsoft Office products, for example) believing this second identity was not associated with their registrations, and so some applications would not function or did not provide full functionality.  In my case, using Office 365 on-line would suffice as a work-around to this issue.

    Dear BOX

As a consultant I have my own BOX account, I love box.  I recently changed to BOX and have suggested my clients consider BOX for their needs.  However, all these comments for "more than on box account" are where I am.  I could be a unpaid sales supporter if this hickup could be rectified.  I would like to be able to have each BOX account in my desktop.  I certainly cant log out and in every time I need to access my or their files.

    Please help!

    Dear Box

I have two companies which I need to be paying attention to both on a daily basis.  Some of the team also cross over between both companies, and also need to see the data for both companies.  I have two box accounts, one for each company, and we would like to be able to see info of both companies via box sync or Box Drive.   I can not merge them, as there is data which is private to each company.   Accessing company info which is synced works fine, and the box platform is really good when the bulk of access is via Box Sync.  However, not being able to sync the second company is very frustrating.  Please could BOX find some resource to work on a solution to this.  I'm sure that many other users with multiple accounts would appreciate this too.   Thanks so much in advance.

Two years after and no update? It may be time for you to align with your competitors, which already have this option available... We need flexibility here!

Running into the same problem here. Why can't box create multiple workspace - just like Outlook does when it manages multiple email accoounts?
