    Hi Nick,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

URL files are not supported in Box Preview. To see the list of File Types supported in Box Content Preview, please check out this article:

If you need to save and access a webpage through Box, you can use Box's Bookmark feature:

    Hi France,
    Thank you for the reply!
Regarding the preview, I don't need shortcuts to open within the Box preview feature as such. It would be best if Box recognised a file as an internet link and triggered my default browser to open it. How could I make this a feature request?
As for the bookmarks feature, that appears to be missing on the android app so there's no way to save a link from my phone to Box? When I choose the share to Box option in my browser it appears to try to save the content of the page itself to Box instead of the link, and is then not openable in Box either.

    Regards
    Nick

    Hi Nick,

For any product feature request or suggestions, we recommend you post your idea on pulse.box.com for more visibility. Our product team reviews all submissions and will consider whether to include feedback in their product roadmap.

Also, it appears creating new bookmarks is not supported in the Box for Android app, but you should be able to open those that you've created via your computer browser.

Should any new functionality/ feature come out, we will definitely announce it in Box Product Announcements!

Thanks for the advice. I've left a suggestion on Pulse.

Also, I've found that the best workaround is to create a new online Word file in Box and then copy the bookmarks URLs into that file. The file can be opened on all Box devices and my laptop, and the links are clickable.
