Box Status

compressed (zipped) folder copied into Box folder showed Excel icon which changed to cloud folder icon after a minute or two

I right-clicked on my folder (outside of the Box folder hierarchy) in Windows file navigator and chose Send to compressed (zipped) folder.  I then dragged mycompressedfolder.zip into a subfolder in my Box hierarchy.  

At first the icon that the Box app displayed for the .zip file was the Excel icon. After about a minute it changed to the cloud-folder icon.

Why was the Excel icon displayed for a zip file?
